Kim Cunningham.
Counsel with context.
A healthcare-focused attorney with a practical understanding of the work behind the paperwork.
Kim is a solo practitioner based in Beaufort, South Carolina, in the heart of the Lowcountry. She advises healthcare providers and healthcare businesses on the legal and regulatory challenges of operating in a highly regulated industry.

Legal questions are rarely
just legal questions.
Before advising independent providers and small healthcare organizations, Kim worked in healthcare compliance and privacy inside a public safety-net hospital. That experience shapes her approach to practical strategies that fit the way a practice operates.
Her healthcare work includes compliance, contracts, reimbursement strategy, and responses to government audits and investigations. She also advises trades and small businesses on the agreements behind their work.
Veterans’ benefits work is personal to Kim: her father served in the Marine Corps and her husband served in the Air Force. She represents veterans and surviving family members and is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Kim lives in the Beaufort area with her husband Geoff, their dog Kya, their cat Delly, and two unnamed chickens.
